WEPOH — Event Planners of Houston (also listed as Wedding Event Planners of Houston, LLC) is a wedding and event planning company run by Sharon, a Houston native and University of Houston graduate who spent 10 years in the U.S. Navy before moving into event planning. The business is registered at 18207 N Eldridge Pkwy, Tomball, TX 77377, but serves weddings and quinceañeras across the greater Houston area (some directories also list it under “The Woodlands, TX”). The team, sized 2 to 4 depending on the event, includes associate planners Kari and Jordan and virtual assistant Anna Kate.
What’s included
WEPOH publishes three main wedding packages, each starting with a free initial consultation (lunch included):
The Concierge (Full Planning) — from $5,600
The most comprehensive option. Planning starts 12 months out and covers venue selection, coordination with every vendor, design and décor, budget management, timeline creation, and full on-the-day coordination.
The Signature (Partial Planning) — from $3,200
Built for couples who’ve already made progress but need targeted help: filling in remaining vendors, building a floor plan, vendor recommendations, and tracking upcoming vendor payments with reminders. Planning starts 6 months out.
The Jubilee (Wedding Management / Day-of) — from $1,650
For couples who’ve planned everything themselves and just need a professional team to execute the day. Starts 1 month out, with a pre-wedding consultation, vendor coordination, timeline management, and up to 12 hours of day-of coordination.
There’s also an a-la-carte service starting at $125 (per Zola) for one-off needs, and an officiant service from $150 through an affiliated site (officiantsharon.com). Beyond weddings, WEPOH handles quinceañeras (“Quince Management and Party Packages”) and other social events — birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, engagement parties — though unlike the wedding packages, the site doesn’t publish a fixed price list for quinceañeras; you’ll need to request a quote directly.
Pricing
All three wedding packages have published starting prices, confirmed both on the site’s pricing guide (wepoh.com/pricing-guide) and its Zola listing: $5,600 (Concierge), $3,200 (Signature), and $1,650 (Jubilee). Zola fills in the add-on costs: an extra coordinator runs $125 per staff member, an additional staff assistant is $300 (for 8 hours), and there’s a $0.75-per-mile travel fee for events more than 50 miles outside zip code 77380 (the Tomball/Spring area). Per WEPOH’s Zola FAQ, planning or coordinating a wedding takes a minimum of 200 hours depending on the package, and the company caps itself at one wedding per weekend to keep full attention on each client.
Who it’s best for
WEPOH works well for couples who want one reliable point of contact no matter where they are in the planning process — from square one (Concierge) down to the final month (Jubilee). The reviews back this up: 4.6 out of 5 stars across 18 Google reviews (via Birdeye) and 5.0 out of 5 on Zola, with recurring praise for steady communication, calm handling of surprises, and day-of execution — one client describes the team quietly retrieving a forgotten set of rings mid-wedding without disrupting the event. Despite the small team, WEPOH says every staff member is briefed on each wedding so anyone can step in if needed, and clients get assigned a specific team member six weeks before the event.
Not every review is glowing: one Google reviewer reported that despite reassurances throughout planning, issues surfaced the week of her wedding around the venue’s required security and a mandatory list of preferred bartending vendors in her venue contract. It’s worth treating that as a cue for what to confirm early (see below).
Tips before booking
- Get a full written breakdown before signing: the base package price, any extra-coordinator or assistant fees, travel charges if your venue is outside the Tomball/Spring area, and exactly what your chosen package covers.
- Nail down venue-specific requirements early: mandatory security, preferred-vendor lists (bartending, catering), and any other contract restrictions from your venue — one reported case shows these can surface late if they aren’t confirmed upfront.
- If you’re planning a quinceañera, request a direct quote — the site doesn’t publish fixed pricing for this service the way it does for weddings.
- Ask who your actual point of contact will be: the team confirms your assigned planner six weeks before the event, so ask to meet them earlier if that would put you more at ease.
- Consider the a-la-carte option if you only need help with one piece — say, timeline design or finding a single missing vendor — rather than a full package.
- Use the free initial consultation (lunch included, per their pricing guide) to gauge whether Sharon and her team’s communication style fits what you’re looking for.
As always, prices and availability change — confirm everything directly with WEPOH at (281) 716-5566 or info@wepoh.com before booking.
